About Barbara Pommerenke
"I would like so much that my pictures were more, not accidental nice entertainment, no, that they would inspire and touch people and show the viewer the full range of life and human existence." (Emil Nolde, 1927) Born in 1965. Living in Rostock, Germany. Education in Fine Arts attending an art class of Waldemar Kraemer at Rostock's Conservatory, in youth summer camps for Fine Art led by several regionally important artists as well as attendance of classes at the College of Applied Arts Heiligendamm, at the Adult Education Center Rostock and also at the Art House Guestrow with sculptor Henning Spitzer. Prizes in online art contests, such as First Place Prizes on Fine Art America.com and deviantART.com in 2011 and 2012. Fourth Place...
